Pittsburgh Riverhounds Ready to Kick-off 2010” Season.
2010 April 14
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds will open up the 2010 season on Saturday in Maryland. Once again they’ll be in the USL Second Division, and playing their home games at Chartiers Valley High School. I think they play too far away to get a lot interest from Armstrong County. The major change this year is Justin Evans is taking over as head coach, former coach and RSW guest Gene Klein is moving to the front office.
The Philadelphia Union the MLS’ 2010 expansion team has already started their official season. They welcomed 34,000 fans on opening day. In August they hope to be playing at their permanent home, the new PPL Park in Chester Pa.
