IUP & Gannon Headed to NCAA Elite Eight

With most of the basketball world focusing on the tip off of the NCAA Tournament today at noon, IUP has reached the NCAA Division 2 Elite Eight. On Tuesday Night IUP defeat West Liberty, 84-72, to book their trip to the Springfield Mass. The Crimson Hawks are #2 in the nation, and could very well win the school’s first ever National Championship in basketball. The PSAC which is more commonly known as a football conference could have two Basketball Champions as top ranked Gannon also made the Women’s Elite Eight.
