pitt-logoPitt Basketball is off to a great and maybe surprising start in Big East play. The Panthers are 4-0 in the Big East after defeating UConn on Wednesday Night, and are 14-2 overall. Many people believed this was to be a rebuilding year for the Panthers, there also was skepticism that Pitt could make the NCAA Tournament. Pitt will get ready to host Louisville on Saturday and Georgetown on Wednesday. Pitt is now thinking about a Big East Title, as they look like locks for the NCAAs.

West Virginia is also off to a great start as they’re ranked 10th in the country with a 14-2 overall record. They’ll face Syracuse this Saturday. Finally IUP is no longer undefeated after an overtime defeat at Cheyney. IUP is now ranked 12th in Division 2.
