Armstrong County Basketball Rankings – 1/14/09

Freeport’s Tuesday Night home win over Ford City 69-55 was enough put the YellowJackets on top of the table. The Freeport boys are now undefeated in section play, ahead of a big game Friday Night at Apollo Ridge. We’re not even half way through the section yet, but Freeport has a chance to run the table. Kittanning falls to second as they’re struggling in AAA. I’m still disappointed Freeport and Kittanning aren’t scheduled to play this season.

The Apollo Ridge Girls look set to run a way with things as they’re off to an impressive 10-0 start. Kittanning and Ford City are next in line. However Viking fans are already dreaming of a long playoff run. Go to RizzoSports.com for the full Armstrong County Rankings.
