Pitt. vs Duquesne Basketball City Game Tonight.

Tonight’s match up of Pitt (5-1) vs. Duquesne (5-1) will be a historic affair, as it’s the last basketball game to be played at Mellon Arena. I’m sure a lot of people have yet to pay attention to the Pitt Basketball Team, but might be surprised to find out they’re not ranked to start the season. I spoke to Ray Goss and he tells me this year’s Duquesne Team is better than last year’s 21-13 squad. However I think the Dukes have some major issues in the paint due to their lack of height. Issues that will probably show tonight against Pitt. I view this as the real start to the local college basketball season. We should learn a lot about the Panthers and Dukes during tonight’s game. Two other college basketball teams you’ll be hearing a lot about are West Virginia and IUP. WVU is in the top 10 and IUP is in the D2 top 10.
