FC Starts Defense of Section Title Tonight.

Local high schools start section basketball play tonight. The Ford City Sabers will try to defend last year’s section title, however they’ll be doing so with a lot of new faces. The Sabers will meet Springdale tonight starting at 7:30 at home. Ford City fans know defeating Springdale is key in a section that figures to be up for grabs. Also tonight Kittanning will start their quest for a playoff spot at home against Mars. On my show this past Tuesday Night members of the team stated that reaching the playoffs is the goal this season. Kittanning is now 3-1 after defeating Leechburg on Monday, and last night they won against Apollo Ridge 55-33. I’ll trying to posted on basketball happens through out the season.
