WPIAL Football Playoffs Week 2 Recap

A couple big upsets in the playoffs this week. North Hills over North Allegheny certainly was one as 80% of voter favored NA. Aliquippa over South Fayette was a marquee game, and how about Keystone Oaks over Mt. Pleasant. Of course in singe A we’ll have the big Clairton vs. Laurel rematch.

Yep. Took that one on the chin. KO was legit. We got spanked in every single phase of the game. It wasn’t the talent, however, it was purely size. The largest MP lineman is 6’2″ 260. KO’s smallest lineman was 6’3″ 258. They habe a college sized line. I cannot believe that South Fayette beat them! So, in AA, seeds 1,2,3 went down this week. The outcome is going to be very interesting in this classification. AAAA, AAA, and even
Didn’t finish that last one. I was trying to say that the outcome of AAAA, AAA, and A is a no brainer. But, AA is very much up for grabs.
