WPIAL Football Finals Set of Friday.

This last Friday night saw some historic WPIAL football games!

The most talked about game was certainly the Quad-A clash between Woodland Hills and defending champion Bethel Park. The controversial finish ended with Woodland Hills winning in overtime.

In Triple-A, Thomas Jefferson’s run at a fourth consecutive title was stop by West Allegheny.

In Double-A Aliquippa won a classic battle over Beaver Falls to set up a title game against Greensburg Catholic.

In Single-A, Clairton and Rochester will be in the title game for what seems like 10th year in row.

The games on Friday will certainly have plenty of marquee players like GCC’s QB Trent Hurley, and Hopewell running back, Rushel Shell, along with many of Western PA’s most fabled teams.
