Pirates Season Re-Cap Part 1

This is the first part of a 3 part Bucco season review. We’re going to start by discussing the Front Office. Major moves In – Milledge, Cedeno, Morton, Harahan. Most of the players the Bucs obtained this season are in the minor leagues. At least there was room freed to give some guys a chance. Major Moves Out – Wilson, Sanchez, McLouth, Morgan, Grabow, LaRoche, Snell. They got rid of just about every recognizable player on this team. This team hasn’t improved, they’re getting worst. John Russell has done nothing to prove he’s a big league manager. They need to after Aroldis Chapman, or sale the team, before they lose all their fans. Certainly this horrible late season stretch illustrates the Pirates need to major changes at all levels. Front Office Final Grade: D-
