Ford City & Kittanning Football on Collision Course

Burrell used some key big plays and good kicking to knock off the Wildcats. The Kittanning kids showed great effort in fighting back on multiple occasions, they just down on the wrong side of couple plays. Despite what Ford City does at Burrell next week, it’s highly probably the playoff hopes of both teams will hinge on the final a game of the season. Kittanning and Ford City could finish with identical records, but if Kittanning can beat their big game jinx and defeat FC they would advance to the playoffs. Freeport, Shady Side, and Burrell have all qualified for the WPIAL playoffs. The “AA” playoffs could be wide open this year, as only 3 teams are undefeated, and a truly dominate team has yet to emerge. All signs point to high drama on the final weekend of the season.
