WPIAL Football Week 3 Scores – AA Allegheny Conference

Kittanning sure had their chance for a win tonight.  The game turned when Shady Side had a 40 yd TD pass with 7 seconds left before halftime to give them the lead 13-12.  Logan Atwood was injured to start the second half, as the Kittanning offense couldn’t get things going with there main weapon ineffective.   Shady Side scores on two long TD runs, and win it going away 20-26.  The Kittanning’s lines did great, and maybe it was the Wildcat’s big game bad luck that did them in.

43-20; Burrell over Summitt – Burrell is my clear conference title favorites.
28-21; Ford City over Deer Lakes – FC is 3-0, while Deer Lakes gave them a game.
43-0; Valley over West Shamokin – will the Wolves score next week against Kittanning?
42-13; Freeport over Apollo Ridge  Freeport vs. Burrell next week will be huge.

Kittanning still in the playoff hunt, but conference title hopes I think are out the window, they could easily be 3-0.
