Kittanning Football Hope for Marquee Win.

Friday Night when Kittanning hosts Shady Side Academy, the Wildcats will have the opportunity to finally win a marquee game. Think about it! When was the last time the Wildcats won a game they weren’t supposed to win? Shady Side is the defending Conference Champions and they’re off to a 2-0 start this season. But make no mistake about it! Kittanning can win this game… certainly one of the most important Wildcat home games this decade. A win will put Kittanning right in the hunt for a conference title and a loss would leave them in jeopardy of missing the playoffs. What Kittanning team will show up is the big question on fans’ minds. The Wildcats have the fortune of playing this one at home, and the opportunity to take their season to the next level with a win.

Two things to watch for in the game:
1.  Will Shady Side kick to Atwood? I can’t believe Valley and Freeport did, this will tell us how well SSA scouted Kittanning.
2. Shady’s Side ‘sO-line, will they keep the Wildcat defenders out of the backfield?
