Favorite in the WPIAL AA Allegheny Conference?

The answer is there is no clear cut favorite in the Allegheny Football Conference. It doesn’t look like we’ll see and an undefeated team. For the first time since Kittanning dropped down to AA, you have a legitimate six teams that could finish any where in the top four playoff spots. You also have Apollo and Deer Lakes who could put a scare into one of the top six teams. Kittanning has a favorable schedule. Valley has a good schedule as well; their only road test will probably be at Ford City the first week of the season. If you have to play Ford City this season, week 1 is probably your best chance. On paper everything points to this conference going down to the final week of the season with everything to be determined. Finally the games start this week.
