If you missed it, the Los Angeles Lakers won the NBA title Sunday night. This makes Phil Jackson the winning coach in NBA history with ten titles. Closer to home, the Pirates are only four games back in the NL Central. I still don’t think anyone is picking the Pirates for the World Series. Pittsburgh now has won the Super Bowl, and now the Stanley Cup. While it’s still a very long way off, the LA Dodgers are World Series favorites from the NL. If the Dodgers end up winning, it would split the pro sports titles between Pittsburgh and LA. Maybe we could get a Pitt vs. USC football game to break the tie.
