fluery pensThe most important player for the Pens in the playoffs has to be goalie Marc Andre Fleury. He is the main reason the Pens lead the series 3-1 and are looking to finish off Philadelphia this evening. His goaltending last year was one of the key elements for the Pens in their journey to Finals. Fleury is on the ice 100% of the time, and if he’s playing well, it gives the rest of the team added confidence. Fleury has played in 21 games since March 1st. Including their only playoff lost to the Flyers, he has only given up more then three goals in three of games. In turn the Pens’ offense has score less then three goals in only three of games. It’s pretty simple that if Fleury can be solid four out of ever five games, and recent history suggest he will be, then Pens with their offense should be nearly impossible to beat in a seven game series.
